The Rec Path is Dry and Ready to Ride
After a week of sun, rain and warm weather, the remnants of winter have finally melted off the Stowe Recreation Path. From start to finish, the path is clear for riders, runners, walkers, and the rare rollerblader. Come by and rent a cruiser bike, starting at $9 an hour or $24 for a full day.
Don't forget, the rec path is the only way for pedestrians to cross from the Mountain Road onto Main Street. You can access the Rec path behind our shop at 350 Mountain Road.
Don't be stuck out on the trail without a spare tube, you never know when your going to get a flat.
With the Kingdom Trails opening this weekend and other trail systems on the verge of ride able, make sure you are ready to roll. Here are a few items that cost just a few dollars but are priceless when out on the trail
Spare tubes (you never know when you're going to get a flat)
Patches for tubes
Plenty of water (we have plenty of insulated water bottles and camelbaks)
Snacks, snacks, and more snacks.
Area trail maps - available at the store
High Fives and fist bumps
If you're missing any of these things, stop by the shop and gear up before heading out. And yes, the high fives and fist bumps are free.
Dylan test rides a couple of bikes during last years bike swap.
Don't forget our Bike Swap May 16th. Bring in your bike between the 9th- 15th of May; receive 100% store credit or 80% of the sales if your bike sells. A great way to get rid of your old ride and pick up a shiny new one for the summer.
We now have Stowe Bike Jerseys from Louis Garneau in Men's and Women's with matching shorts. Last year we had a hard time keeping these on the shelf. Get your before they are gone.
